Nestled in Kaikohe
the heart
of Northland

Our purpose is to be the centre of innovative business, processing and a circular economy using the region's abundant biological raw materials.

Working collaboratively and connected to R&D, workforce training and development and local community enterprises, we provide a unique and supportive environment for businesses and their employees.

Growing People, Business and Innovation

Ngawha Innovation and Enterprise Park (The Park) is the place where businesses and the local community thrive together through higher value production and value-added manufacturing.

By creating a circular economy, we seek to create ways to reduce waste on the park and to support better environmental and financial sustainability for all who participate.

We envision an environment that is built for longevity, balancing social wellbeing and economic output with the kaitiaki of the land.

Who Is the park for?

Located 3kms east of Kaikohe and just 30 mins from the Bay of Islands Airport, we welcome businesses and entrepreneurs from early-stage start-ups, through to established businesses and large multinationals that share our values and vision.

We seek to attract complimentary industries that want access to the region’s wood and horticultural crops (particularly new sub-tropical crops) and that have reciprocal manufacturing and production principles, which result in:

  • Econommies of scale
  • Beneficial relationships around waste and recycling
  • Energy/heat/CO2 production and use

We support innovation through connecting like-minded businesses to each other, to R&D, government agencies, funders and investors, and training and development to grow the skills of the Park workforce.

We support on-site and on-the-job training and development to grow the skills of the Park workforce to meet the needs of the businesses.

Our Values

We welcome businesses who share our values and are living them in the way they approach their operations.
